Race For the Cure 2010 Update

Race For The Cure

On October 9, 2010 several of us- Karen Lollar, Pam Weaver and Lauren Graves- here at Guide Insurance Agency and our family members joined the record-breaking crowd of 16,000 people by participating in the The 19th Annual Komen North Central Alabama 5K Race for the Cure.

Starting and ending at Linn Park, we walked (or ran) the 3.1 miles around the streets of downtown Birmingham. People stood on the sidewalks cheering everyone along, making us all want to walk a little faster for such a great cause.

We were excitied at having the ability to walk again this year and we are already looking forward to next year.
